We both couldn’t sleep very much last night. The best we could do was just to lie down still and hope the morning would come soon – which meant the sun. “Knock, knock… the Sherpa came at our tent offering a cup of tea or coffee. It was like an angel sent by God to save our crushing souls. Then breakfast followed.
This was a hangout day and we went for a walk to get acclimatized. It wasn’t easy as my legs were stiff like wooden sticks. I almost gave up but it was time to turn back, lucky me!
During our stay in the tent Neil and I discussed the hike several times and we went through the whole itinerary and tried to reassure ourselves on how we can handle it.
